Springfield, Ill. - Students from Williamsfield High School in Williamsfield explain their project to State Sen. Darin LaHood (R-Dunlap) during TECH 2015, a demonstration of school technology on May 7, in the State Capitol.
TECH 2015 is designed to show state leaders what skills will be needed for the Illinois work force and how technology can improve teaching and learning.
Aside from showcasing their own demonstration, the students were able to see what other schools in the state were doing with technology.
Collin Grubb of Williamsfield High School said of the event, "My favorite thing was seeing the three 2nd graders that had rebuilt a computer and made the game, Mario Cart. It was also really cool meeting Don Moffitt and Darin LaHood."
